Biography
My name is Tapadhir, and I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Director of the Advanced Security in AI and CPS (ASAP) Laboratory at the University of the Pacific. My research focuses on leveraging the usage of machine learning and artificial intelligence to protect infrastructures like the Internet of Things and cyber-physical systems. Professionally, my passion lies in researching and developing security mechanisms that will help protect national critical infrastructures and the public against cybercrimes. I am a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the IEEE Computer Society.
Outside of my academic duties, I enjoy being active outdoors and also finding new places to have coffee and boba in town. Sports are also a big part of my life and you would occasionally find me in front of the television rooting for the Patriots, Lakers, and Chelsea FC.
